Children from birth to 6 years to learn, grow and have fun! We have been selected as the Early Years Centre for Kitchener.
This is wonderful news in that we will be able to offer a wider range
of programming, much of it at no cost to participants. Please use the links above to find more information about where
to find us, costs and benefits, volunteer information, and some
background about how we got to where we are today. The links across
the top will also take you to information about the children's and
adults' programs.

News Bulletin...
Our Place will be closed Saturday May 19th and Monday May 21st. We will re-open Tuesday May 22nd at 9:00 a.m. We wish all of our families a safe holiday weekend!
The centre will be closed all day Friday May 25th for staff training.
Starting Monday June 4th, we will be offering Outdoor Fun on Monday evenings from 5:45-7:00 p.m. This program will take the place of Learning is Child's Play on Monday evenings. Outdoor Fun will be held out in the Outdoor Learning Area so please come prepared to be outside! Although this program focus is on children ages birth-6, children ages 7-11 are welcome to join in with their families.
****BREAKING NEWS****
Thursday June 14th we will host our annual Year End Celebration for our families. SAVE THE DATE! This event will run from 5:00-6:30 p.m. See attached flyer for details...
We have a newsletter! Our Place's Parent Council has created a newsletter for all families to keep up to date with the current events happening at the centre. The newsletter also provides information on what our Parent Council is up to and how they support Our Place. The next Prenatal Health Fair is being held Thursday June 7th from 4:30-8:00pm at Kitchener City Hall. This event is for anyone planning a pregnancy or is already pregnant and their support people. Workshops will be offered in Arabic, English, Farsi, Madarin and Spanish. Follow the link below for more information...

Ballots are now available for the next session of Coffee Club and Creative Cooking (May 30 to June 27). Ballots are due May 18 by 3:00p.m. We will draw for spots on Tuesday May 22.

Centre Housekeeping
If you are in need of financial assistance, please call 519-571-1626 ext. 25 before registering for programs.
If you or your children are ill, we ask you do not attend programs. If you are registered in a program, we ask you call the centre and let us know you will not be attending that day.
Programming can be held in the Outdoor Learning Area at any point during the School Readiness programs. We ask that you dress your child for the weather outside.
Spring is here! Please remember to bring your indoor shoes. For safety reasons, we can not allow wet boots or shoes into the gym or classrooms.
Refund requests processed before the first week of program will be subject to a $5 administration fee.
For any unexpected closures and cancellations , please call us at 519-571-1626 ext. 29 . A message will be recorded that lists any of the cancellations.
Please remember to arrive on time.
If you are registered for a program, please call if you cannot attend or are going to be late.
