Children from birth to 6 years to learn, grow and have fun! We have been selected as the Early Years Centre for Kitchener.
This is wonderful news in that we will be able to offer a wider range
of programming, much of it at no cost to participants. Please use the links above to find more information about where
to find us, costs and benefits, volunteer information, and some
background about how we got to where we are today. The links across
the top will also take you to information about the children's and
adults' programs.

News Bulletin...
We have a newsletter! Our Place's Parent Council has created a newsletter for all families to keep up to date with the current events happening at the centre. The newsletter also provides information on what our Parent Council is up to and how they support Our Place. Follow the 'newsletter' link above to read the current edition....
***PROGRAM UPDATES***
This six week program focuses on the importance of a Father’s role in raising children. Dad’s and male caregivers are invited to come out to discover how being an involved Father can build your child’s character, confidence and self-esteem. This program runs Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm starting February 29. **Facilitated by Keith Milne, PHW. Materials included and limited children’s programming available** |
Fathering Involvement—Building Our Children’s Character
Ballots for the next session of Coffee Club and Creative Cooking will be available Monday January 30 with the draw being held Tuesday February 21.NEW! Registration ballots for Coffee Club and Creative Cooking are now available on-line! Please complete the ballot and e-mail back to ourplace@ourplacekw.ca BEFORE Janaury 9th.
Registration for January programs will start Monday January 30th, in person or by phone, after 1:30pm. Register for: Fathering Involvement, Fit Kids, Infant Massage, and Parenting in a New Society.
**Registration for programs requiring payment will be taken each day starting January 30 at 10:30 a.m. IN PERSON ONLY. These programs include: Learning Begins** and Make The Connection 1-2**.
Centre Housekeeping
If you are in need of financial assistance, please call 519-571-1626 ext. 25 before registering for programs.
If you or your children are ill, we ask you do not attend programs. If you are registered in a program, we ask you call the centre and let us know you will not be attending that day.
Programming can be held in the Outdoor Learning Area at any point during the School Readiness programs. We ask that you dress your child for the weather outside.
Spring is here! Please remember to bring your indoor shoes. For safety reasons, we can not allow wet boots or shoes into the gym or classrooms.
Refund requests processed before the first week of program will be subject to a $5 administration fee.
Please remember to arrive on time.
If you are registered for a program, please call if you cannot attend or are going to be late.
*Please note...we cannot let families into our centre until 8:30 a.m. each morning*
