Our Place is a family resource and early years centre with drop-in programs for parents, caregivers, and young children.

Effective April 1, 2003, we are became the lead agency for the Ontario Early Years Centre for the Kitchener Centre riding or the 'urban' portion of the Waterloo-Wellington riding.

An Early Years Centre is a place for parents and caregivers of children up to the age of six to go and get information they need about their child’s development. A place to meet with other parents, participate in parenting groups and have fun taking part in a variety of children’s programs.

The services that are offered are either at our Main Site at St. Francis School or at our Satellite/Outreach locations are:

• Drop in Early Childhood Development Programs (birth to 6 years)
• Programs on Pregnancy and Parenting
• An opportunity to talk to early years professionals i.e. Educators, Public Health representatives; other parents and caregivers
• Computers available with internet access
• Outreach resources
• Resource and Toy Lending Library
• Early learning and Literacy programs for parents and children
• Breastfeeding Support Site
• Volunteer Opportunities
